Warped Tour: Day 1 Bonner Springs, Kansas

What’s up! Wanted to update everyone on our cross country adventure that is the Warped Tour. We arrived at Bonner Springs early on the morning of the 2nd after a delightful 38 hour drive from California. About the most interesting part of our drive is when a kid asked us if we were headed to “Heaven Fest.” We tossed around the idea in our heads but in the end decided against it. Regardless, we were so stoked to be playing and seeing some of our good friends as well. The day went by in a blur. Much of it was spent beneath our merch tent trying to escape the UNREAL heat. It was awesome meeting so many kids that were pumped to see us play (which is rare in Kansas)! Thank you to everyone who stayed until the end of the day and sang along, that ruled! After our set, however, we realized how intense Warped can be. All of us were completely burnt out. In the end, though, we have no reason to complain. Playing Warped Tour is something that we as a band have always wanted to do. Thank you to everyone that made this happen, you know who you are. We would especially like to thank everyone working Warped, all the dudes running our stage, and our crew who helped us out when we really needed it (Kris, Todd, and Brent).

Anyway, Denis and I are driving across South Dakota at the moment heading to our next date in Edmonton. Canada: be sure to check us out! We have never played Alberta and don’t know when we’ll be coming back. Hope all is well with everyone. Check back in soon for more updates.
